Jim, Hi I am a new member of JRAS. I recently moved from Milton Delaware to Mechanicsville VA. I am a retired Clinical Laboratory Scientist and I have bounced all around the Country over the last 20 years. I was an avid Aquarist for many years, however due to the logistics of moving, and a wife that became frustrated with the time I spent owning and operating a 200 tank, 6000 gallon Rift Lake Hatchery that selectively bred wild stock I had to give it up. I’ve missed fish keeping badly over this 20 year hiatus, but not the endless husbandry and hustle it took to maintain that kind of volume. I’m glad I found JRAS with a basic search. I am currently running a 90G mixed Rift Lake tank, and unfortunately that is the way it will be as a result of some current Medical Issues. Although my current tank consists of a mix of Malawian, Tanganyikan, and a single Victorian. I am now in the process of moving toward an almost exclusively Tanganyikan, and trading or selling most of my Malawians. I did post a couple of Malawians on the JRAS Marketplace without much feedback. they are all beautiful fish from a reputable Florida Farm( not wild). my question is how often do Auctions or your Bag sales occur? I would like to sell or trade these fish as soon as I can.Any suggestions I am glad that I discovered your site, and I am looking forward to meeting people who I can disseminate and share my fishy passion with. looking forward in further correspondence, and who knows that at some point meet with the club.
